Given so many former colleagues are leaving service without any recognition, being able to give one their 35 yr pin and another their 30 year pin meant so much to them

I recently received my 30-year Recognition of Service award certificate and pin for 30 years of government service from my agency. When I opened my pin, though it was metal, the pin was cheaply sprayed with uniformly shiny gold, and you had to strain to see details on the pin because of its sheen.

So, I purchased this one online that matched all the other pins Patina awarded through the years. Talk about a much better pin. You can see the patina/dark areas behind the eagle, numbers, and other symbology.

After 30 years of service, federal employees should all get something as high quality as this company's pin and less cheap and uncaring than my agency gave me. I proudly display all my past pins on my desk, starting with my five-year pin decades ago. Thank you for selling a high-quality pin for a simply non-monitory award for US Government Employees. We deserve it!
