"Woah, only 2 stars" well let me tell ya, this trophy is one of the most bad ass looking trophies out there. No doubt about that. When I received this trophy all I wanted to do was call the boys up on facetime and show off how dope of a trophy I got for us, my excitement was through the roof. I was running around the house, trophy in hand, acting like I just won Superbowl LIV. As my FFL commish, I had decided to hold off showing the boys the trophy until draft day. smart idea right? and i can flaunt off how dope of a trophy we got and i can see all their reactions in person.
alright, fast forward 20 hours. ya boy is at work, had to make a phone call to get the trophy further engraved (mainly because they only allowed like 20 characters per line and my good friend does engraving so i was just gonna have him do it). Also engraving dude closed at 5, and i worked late. So i call up my ma and asked her if she could run the trophy to the engraving dude. Bet, she said. So she is taking the trophy into this shop when it happened...
my ma opens the door and the trophy slips out before she could fully open the door. Falls about 12-16 inches and shatters into 12 pieces. she calls me up telling me what happened... I couldn't believe what i was hearing. in disbelief i reply, tell me your joking ma.. she wasn't. shortly after pics followed to back up her story. I was distraught. Couldn't believe the news I had just recieved...then i remembered I can 100% believe her because the trophy is f*cking hollow and made with cheap ass material. it was essentially cardboard. how they think this trophy is built to last 24 years is LAUGHABLE. the base was a complete piece of shit. hollow and unsturdy, the plaques looked like they were recycled pieces. some were straight black and others had writing and bits and pieces of palm trees on it. like wtf? i paid $180 for this trophy and you can't give me new plaques and a solid base???? the trophy emblem itself was a joke. looks like a 2nd grader papier-mache project.
in conclusion, this trophy LOOKS incredible but i am sadden to inform you all on how cheap the material is. this is why it's a 2* and not a 1*. If you're loaded and got the money, cool trophy to get. otherwise money is better spent else where.
